Notability & references[edit]

I undid the Biographies Notability tag (diff), which read:

The topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies. Please help to establish notability by citing reliable secondary sources that are independent of the topic and provide significant coverage of it beyond its mere trivial mention. If notability cannot be established, the article is likely to be merged, redirected, or deleted.

The band and its members are clearly notable - a Google or Bing search will reveal that fact. In terms of coverage, it is a Stub, no question about that. If there is a Wikipedia policy regarding Stub articles, i.e., that articles should not be created unless they are already Start or C-class, please let me know. Otherwise, this article was created only two weeks ago. Several editors have worked on the Greta Van Fleet article and we have begun to tackle articles for the members of the band. So it appears I'm not the only one who has disputed his stand alone article notability.... Based on these very references (one being freaking Twitter, for Christ's sake), he simply doesn't have the notability for his own article. It's got nothing to do with being a stub. This should be merged with Greta van Fleet, like they did with Matty Healy and The 1975 (even though I disagree with that move, Matty by far has his own notability), until more and better sources and articles are made. Notability isn't established by fleeting (no pun intended) mentions of his name or a small paragraph. It has to be "significant" coverage; I learned that the "hard" way with Karena Evans. I trust the voice of experience--you. ;o) With enough work on the article I believe notability would be established, but as it exists now, I see what you're saying--evidence for Josh Kiszka's notability is lacking in this little stubby article. I am not well-versed in how to remove/delete an article like this one, so I will defer to you. Infobox[edit]

Relatives section of infobox looks incorrect. Brother and Sisters are not on their own line. This is also a problem on Jake Kiszka.

Infoboxes should include only relatives with articles, so I've removed the sister and the parents, leaving just the brothers. At the same time, I've made a lot of copy edits because, MOS-wise, the article is very messy. I stopped after the Early life section, though, because I really don't feel like spending much time on it.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:13, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
