I don't see how a single event (setting one fire), no matter how heinous / murderous / unpleasant, can be considered a "spree." Shouldn't a spree have at least a few discrete acts connected by time? It's the continuity that makes it a *spree* at all, eh? (Buying an expensive car might be extravagant, but it's not a "spree." Buying three diamond-encrusted pen-and-pencil sets at different stores around town on the same morning? That sounds like a spree.)
