On 1 March 2024, it was proposed that this article be moved from KTON (AM) to KTON. The result of the discussion was moved. |
This Article Appears to be obsolete
[edit]There does not appear to be any radio station using KTON as a call sign in operation. The article apparently needs correction, with a change to the past tense. Attempts to contact this alleged station by google bring up ESPN now. However, the FCC still has KTON on a list. (PeacePeace (talk) 16:05, 24 July 2016 (UTC))

– Looks like the primary topic - "kiloton" is unlikely to be referred to as "KTON" in all caps. * Pppery * it has begun... 04:28, 1 March 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Sennecaster (Chat) 02:33, 19 March 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 20:45, 9 March 2024 (UTC)

- Oppose KTON is a disambig page with more than just a link to kiloton. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 16:25, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- The other entry is KTON (940 AM), which the current title does not help to disambiguate from, though. * Pppery * it has begun... 16:31, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- The priority order in WP:NCBC would prescribe the title of KTON (Belton, Texas) for that article. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 17:30, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

- Support We can handle disambiguation to the Belton station, and to kiloton, with hatnotes on this page. As it stands, Kton redirects to KTON (940 AM). That should change, too. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 17:32, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- I redirected Kton to the disambig page of KTON. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 21:37, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

- Support. I agree that the active radio station is the primary topic at this capitalisation. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 16:36, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
