Title

[edit]

The title of this article looks weird to me: the place is the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and without inserting a word such as "people" it sounds almost like the name of some ruler. Can we not move it? - Sitush (talk) 19:12, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@Sitush: I totally agree. It should be Karen in the Andamans. I have previously heard of Bengalis in the Andamans[1] and Bangladeshis in the Andamans [2].--DreamLinker (talk) 12:32, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Or perhaps Karen people in the Andamans, since "Karen people" seems to be most commonly used.--DreamLinker (talk) 12:33, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Karen of the AndamansKaren people in the Andamans – The current title is a bit weird. We usually refer to x people in y place, instead of x people of y place. Since the most common term used for the ethnic group is Karen people, I am suggesting this name. Another alternative is "Karen in the Andamans".
