First in Britain, not the world[edit]

I removed statements that Karpal Kaur Sandhu was the first Asian woman police officer in the world. Both Sri Lanka and Japan had women police officers before 1971. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 09:43, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

False statements[edit]

I have spent the last 10 years trying the correct the information plastered all over the internet. the person known 'Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry ' keeps re-editing my corrections 'claiming' there are better sources of information ... what does that even mean. Please do not add details originally from a BBC interview which it would appear the world takes are the god given truth. DIL Neiyyar failed to any further research or contact family as a courtesy before publishing his article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.151.51.96 (talk) 15:34, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There are decent references from the BBC, the Police Federation, and the Police Roll of Honour Trust... what specifically is the issue you have? Is it that she was not murdered by her husband, or that her husband murdered her for a different reason? Or something else?
