Birthday
[edit]In the 9th September 2006 edition of Click, she stated that the UK No. 1 single when she was born was 'Young Girl' by Gary Puckett & the Union Gap, and 'Tighten Up' by Archie Bell and the Drells in the States. This puts her birthday between May 24th and May 31st 1968. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Conrad1on (talk • contribs) 04:22, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
The BBC Link says she got into computers when playing Elite at the 'tender age of 12'. Thiw wasn't out until 1984, which makes her born in 1972.
- This Youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn7WDfIAyQg which Kate posts on her "About Me" official website http://katerussell.moonfruit.com/#/about-me/4544602514 , has her comment "I think I was about 9 years old when we took part in this pilot show, Johnny Ball Games (1977-ish?)". That fits with the 1968 birth year. Andrew Oakley (talk) 23:35, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

Publicity, not encyclopaedia material
[edit]The article contains almost none of the usual biographical material... Parents, schools, other education, relationships, etc. It is composed mostly of publicity, as are so many biographical articles about living people / 'celebrities' / 'personalities': a clear example of how Wikipedia fails as an actual encyclopaedia. 86.190.224.83 (talk) 22:48, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
