1. Hinton was not the emergency QB. He was beyond that. Emergency QBs have that status throughout the season, not just thrust upon him. 2. His situation was much worse and different than Matte's. Matte was literally selected to be QB with weeks worth of notice. Matte's situation is much more akin to Taysom Hill's than Kendall Hintons. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:387:C:5513:0:0:0:61 (talk) 06:08, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't see how this changes the fact that he is the last (attributed) non-QB to play significant snaps at QB in a NFL game. Taysom Hill is officially a QB and has been his whole pro career. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 10:55, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Remove zero passer rating

[edit]

Kendall Hinton was not eligible for a 0.0 passer rating as he did not attempt 10 passes 76.126.246.41 (talk) 21:00, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Broncos starting QBs

[edit]

Can someone add "Denver Broncos starting quarterback navbox" to the bottom — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.44.151.40 (talk) 22:18, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Phillip Lindsay got credit for the official start as he took the game's first offensive snap in the Wildcat. Yes I know this is stupid, but others would revert this. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 22:26, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

First non-QB?

[edit]

Under professional career, where it says "He became the first non-quarterback to play significant snaps at the position in an NFL game since running back Tom Matte did so for the Baltimore Colts in 1965," what about Tom Tupa of the New York Jets in 1999, who as a punter, stepped in for an injured Vinny Testaverde and went 6-11 with 165 yards and 2 touchdowns in week 1 against the Patriots? --2001:49D0:8511:2:9183:8EA2:CE09:A509 (talk) 16:03, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The difference is that Tupa began his NFL career as a QB and had started for the Cardinals in the early 90s. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 05:41, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
