Dubious

[edit]

Although a cited part of the article states 'The station opened on 23 December 1869, as Kilmacolm G&SW; however on 1 December 1904 it was renamed Kilmacolm.', this seems to contract the Greenock and Ayrshire Railway article, which states that G&SW 'amalgamated with the Glasgow and South Western Railway on 1 August 1872.'. This would indicate that in 1869, Kilmacolm would not have been named after this company, as it was not part of its holdings. --Breadandcheese (talk) 01:33, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well you should not beleive everything you read in wikipeidia. Unfortunately the names seems to have been reversed. Article now corrected. Pyrotec (talk) 08:23, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinate error

[edit]

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for Kilmacolm rainway station. The marker is in the wrong place -- it should be at 55°53'35.12"N 4°37'45.98"W. --76.105.145.143 (talk) 03:18, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
