Radio Stations and Lawsuits

[edit]

I was just wondering what the deal was with the radio stations threatening to sue Sierra over the Girl in the Tower song... That is not very well explained or referenced. GBMorris 01:06, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Credits section

[edit]

Is it really neccessary to include all this much detail in the credits section? Besides for the complete King's Quest nut I would say this info is largely irrelevant. Perhaps only the main contributors (writers, producers, directors and programmers) should be mentioned. Zunaid 10:21, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. In fact, none of the other King's Quest game articles have credit sections. Movie articles on Wikipedia mention the director and stars, and perhaps, rarely, the screenwriter. It's generally assumed that if you want to know who the gaffer or cinematographer was on a particular film, you go to IMDB. The same sort of idea should be assumed of games. I'm incorporating the designers and writers into the header of the article, I don't think anyone will mind. MasterGrazzt 19:17, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, I just re-added the entry without knowing there was a discussion--sorry about that. But let me just say, many people interested in videogames are interested in more than just the game designer or executive producer, especially for games that come from back in the day when there were very small development teams. The credits information also provides interesting background for the game. The individual credited with the voice of Graham, for example, is a game developer in his own right. And the voice of Alexander was a famous voice actor named Robby Benson. This additional background on the game would go unnoticed without a credits section. In closing, I just think people who are really interested in videogames care about not only the content of the game, but also what happens behind the scenes of the game. The credits section is a factual way of satisfying the second need, of having a peek behind the curtain. Xquester --GBMorris 01:06, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Complete Redo

[edit]

The plot section is VASTLY inadequate, it's written poorly ("Can he solve the mystery and bring peace to the kingdom?") and doesn't feature the dual branch (even if it is in the gameplay section, it doesn't elaborate on it there) Could someone put a revision banner up? Improving the article

[edit]

I'd like to adress some of the problems with this article. Would anyone like to help me improve it? --Mors Martell (talk) 19:05, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:King's Quest: Quest for the Crown which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 18:45, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

title

[edit]

Just a question, I thought that the title of the game was rederring to Cassima, not Alexander. I thought it was saying the she is the heir to the throne now, but will be dead soon, so, therefore, "Heir today, gone tomorrow", refers to her. Should that part of the article be changed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Irrewonderful (talkcontribs) 16:32, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
