Contested deletion

The market is one of the oldest farmers market with 140 years of operations (vs St Jacobs which was founded in 1975), ties to agricultural still found in region as well as some vendors who sell goods that reflect the remaining Mennonites that still live in the area.

Most other markets in the region are small and many disappearing as shoppers flock to supermarkets instead.
