Regarding my edits on 2019-12-10
[edit]I am not sure if the things I typed are factually accurate, but they are more faithful translations of the Spanish version of this Wikipedia article. Just one example from the first sentence: The Spanish says "un grupo formado por (nombre, nombre), y (nombre)". The English version said "a group formed by (name, name), and name". This is a direct calque, and "to form" is cognate with "formar", but in English it strongly suggests that those three people are the founding members, the original members. I changed it to "composed of" or similar.
The spelling was mostly US-style, but there was one instance of Oxford spelling. I "fixed it", in scare quotes because the Oxford Dictionary and Merriam-Webster are both valid dictionaries. Wikipedia generally recommends consistency above all else, but choosing between British and American spelling based on the topic of the article. This was only one word and only one land border from US, so let's do US spelling the whole time.
That said, I added Oxford commas. That's a joke, I call them serial commas and they are in many American style guides. Once again, my goal was consistency. Some other commas were also missing, in my opinion. Including the pair of commas around an album name, example, which is not really an opinion. I forgot the album name, wrapping it in commas was necessary and I don't know why.
I replaced "LP" with "full-length album" once and "studio album" once. LP is correct, but the first instance came right after discussing CDs, DVDs, and digital downloads, which makes me think "LP means vinyl", which I doubt is the case. Whether or not it was released on vinyl, I can see it refers to a full-length album. So that sentence is now definitely true, even if it was true before.
I added last names after first names in many cases, but the best thing in Wikipedia style is to use just last names (apellidos) if it is not the first mention. I didn't remove the first names for multiple reasons, one being that I don't want the Page History so show names being "swapped", they are being made more specific.
