What does it mean?
[edit]Is there an explanation for what the different sections of a requiem are for? 66.63.144.242 16:02, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
Overhaul
[edit]Copyedited existing material and added some more specific info in the lede. Deleted information specifically regarding Mozart and Berlioz's requiems, though their names are retained (as are links in See Also). Deleted "Rhythmic Translation". Changed formatting. Let me know if there are concerns. Best, MarkBuckles (talk) 04:56, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
'Arrangement' section
[edit]Who's Requiem is referred to in the arrangement section? It isn't particularly clear if a specific composition is referred to. –MDCollins (talk) 23:04, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Spelling
[edit]Should the words judicandus and Jesu be spelled with I instead of J? I'm pretty sure the Latin language never uses the letter J unless transcribing Greek words. Cloudy fox 001 (talk) 23:30, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Tie-ins to Pop Culture?
[edit]I think that maybe the article could reference some of the uses of this text in pop culture. Off the top of my head I know it is used in the anime D. Gray Man, not the music but the text is exact. For that matter lots of classical music articles should have a pop culture section in my opinion. Well, that's my two cents. 65.24.28.39 (talk) 08:15, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
