  • "as "a catastrophe" → quotes in lead require inline citation per WP:LEADCITE
    • Reworded, as I don't enjoy having to include citations in the lead.
  • "was almost immediately felt" → informal
    • Rephrased to "'BTSTU' also had an impact on contemporary pop music" - if a different phrasing is better here let me know
  • "noted", "however" → WP:WTW
    • Removed "noted", though I'm not sure of which "however" you're referring to here
  • "Some publications refrained from reviewing the 2013 bootleg" , " but critics who did choose to make note of it offered mostly positive opinions" → only one publication is cited to support each of these statements, but they are written as plural?
    • You're right. I've removed this sentence altogether.
  • many of the genres stated in infobox are not supported in body
    • Changed to just pop, R&B and electronic
  • Stephen ref missing magazine name
    • Fixed.
  • Can you get a timestamp for the Masa interview?
    • Unfortunately, I think the only audible proof that this quote is even legitimate comes from this clip on Soundcloud. I couldn't find any archives of Zane Lowe's interviews anywhere.
  • Not sure where DeVille supports that the album was released by XL
    • Added the Pitchfork review to supplement this.

Thank you for the review, Heartfox! This is one of the earlier works that I've done, and I'm realizing that it's in a bit of a shoddier state than I'd hoped. Looking forward to your further comments. joeyquism (talk) 13:28, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Heartfox, is there more to come on this? joeyquism (talk) 16:32, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How do the genres in the infobox meet WP:EXPLICITGENRE? Heartfox (talk) 00:22, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Pitchfork labels the album as pop and R&B in their review of the album here. I've since removed the electronic label as there aren't any direct mentions of an electronic label that I can find. I apologize for these errors. joeyquism (talk) 07:26, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Joeyquism: Thanks, passed. If you are able to leave comments at my current FAC that would be great! Best, Heartfox (talk) 19:56, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the review, Heartfox. I very much appreciate your consideration, but unfortunately I cannot promise a review at this time as I am planning to take an extended wikibreak after completing my own FAC and have tried to cut back on my contributions in the meantime. While I may eventually have the opportunity to review your nomination, I cannot make any guarantees at this moment. I hope you understand, and I wish you the best with your nomination. joeyquism (talk) 21:08, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • ... that a bootleg album of Jai Paul's unreleased music was named as one of the best of 2013 by several music publications?
Improved to Good Article status by Joeyquism (talk). Number of QPQs required: 0. Nominator has less than 5 past nominations.

joeyquism (talk) 20:57, 21 July 2024 (UTC).[reply]

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: None required.

Overall: Article was nominated within 7 days of reaching Good Article status. Article is more than 1,500 words in prose and sources are cited. Earwig picked up a possible copyright violation of 49.2%, but it seems to have come from a quote that was properly cited. Care should be taken to not use the entire quote. This is the nominator's first DYK, so a QPQ is not needed at this time. lullabying (talk) 05:39, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi Lullabying - I think the quote usage here is alright, as it's both properly cited and used to illustrate the grievances Paul had towards the media. If there is anything that you'd like me to address in particular (whether it be the quote or something else), please let me know so I may get to work :) joeyquism (talk) 05:45, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
