merge to his company

[edit]

Unless the article is expanded more, I would say that Les Schwab -- while a community leader and PNW icon -- is largely relevant only to this automotive company.

Earlier today the opposite was done. Les Schwab meets WP:BIO and should have his own article. It can easily be expanded from all the obituary items in the news today. And since the article is really only less than a day old needs a little time to be expanded. Aboutmovies 01:09, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oregon Project Reassessment

[edit]

A request was made to reassess this article. I find it to be of start class quality for the Oregon Project and have changed it accordingly. More could be written about Les's contributions to the community and how he had all of his stores contribute to the community. C. Williams (talk) 22:45, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Despite the success of the company, Les Schwab refused to take the company public."

The way this section is worded, it makes it seem that this was a wrong decision. It should be more neutral, such as "Les Schwab kept his company privately owned." 12.68.215.214 (talk) 13:40, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
