This page should also be added/directed unde FJB Fuck Joe Biden
[edit]Wikipedia could be seen as biased by its lacking of equal coverage of adding articles under FJB Fuck Joe Biden, similar to the FDT posted. I believe showing absolute neutrality is integral in maintaining any enduring viability. Otherwise, Wikipedia becomes one more ad-based (synonymous with corporate political based) paid hack information site lacking integrity. Hired guns for corporate elites disseminating information they see fit and no longer user-based fact check information only neutrality. Also, as is on point here, the YouTube incident of having deleted the FJB Let's go Brandon deserves its article with crossreferences. Beverlybica (talk) 05:22, 26 October 2021 (UTC)

Adding history back
[edit]David Gerard made a hasty decision in deleting in deleting the entire history section just because the source was not good. There are plenty of good sources talking about this so I say we undo his edits and replace it with a good source. Kaleeb18 (talk) 20:18, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
- I'd say that you need to make claims that are notable, not chart claims that Wikipedia doesn't use. The song's already prima facie notable with the Hot 100 chart entry, but that isn't a starter's flag to fill it with whatever terrible sources you google. e.g. Miami Herald is probably good. See WP:RS for what counts - David Gerard (talk) 23:14, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
- Just peeking in, wouldn't it be better to just add the sources? I don't believe deleting the whole history section was nesscary though. SoyokoAnis - talk 02:59, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
- It doesn't add anything not already in, except iTunes entries. Per WP:CHARTS,
iTunes: Charts pertaining to only one specific retailer should not be used.
See the section at WP:SINGLEVENDOR for more guidelines on how to deal with single-retailer charts. - The song's been out like a week or so, it doesn't have any history yet. It'll surely generate some in due course - David Gerard (talk) 08:36, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
- @David Gerard I didn't see that. So it basically doesn't have any history yet? SoyokoAnis - talk 13:25, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
- October 10, two and a half weeks? Let's see what next week's chart entry is! - David Gerard (talk) 13:58, 27 October 2021 (UTC)

Article name change essential
[edit]There are at least two other songs with the same name charting right now, and one of them is at #1 on iTunes downloads. Therefore the article needs to be Lets Go Brandon (Loza Alexander song). Sorry, idk how such a change is made. I also don’t know how the heck the article was named like this in the first place. But that’s another matter. Boscaswell talk 04:32, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
- we should wait until/unless one of those actually charts in a proper chart and gets prima facie notability that may rate an article. Let's see what happens next week! - David Gerard (talk) 22:00, 30 October 2021 (UTC)
I concur. It is too confusing as there are now multiple charting songs called Let's Go Brandon. Someone needs to update the article name. There are currently two Billboard Hot 100 charting songs with this name (the other is by Bryson Gray). 173.240.128.221 (talk) 22:23, 30 October 2021 (UTC)
I agree. I originally named the article that, but then 3 different people changed the name of the article. Kaleeb18 (talk) 00:40, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
Independent notability
[edit]I don’t really see how this song is notable independently of the Let’s Go Brandon phrase itself, per WP:NSONGS. The current sourcing is certainly inadequate, and most articles I’ve seen that mention the song in any depth do so only in relation to the cultural impact of the phrase. clpo13(talk) 00:08, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- @JGabbard: I see you removed the notability tag. Would you care to chime in here to show how the song meets WP:NSONGS when the artist himself doesn't even have an article? Being on the charts is not by itself a guarantee of notability. clpo13(talk) 15:55, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- I believe I already did so in my edit summary. Many one-hit wonder artists are not in themselves notable apart from their one big hit. This song is by a newer artist, and it is rocketing up multiple charts. In fact, two songs by this same title are currently climbing the US Billboard Hot 100, with a third song also already gaining considerable attention and sales. So this article will almost certainly need to be moved soon and a disambiguation page created here. - JGabbard (talk) 18:35, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
Squished image
[edit]The image used for this article seems squished. Is it possible to get a version that keeps the original aspect ratio? RteeeeKed (talk) 00:44, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- @RteeeeKed The image has to be set to a lower quality if it is a copyrighted image. I also think the image looks squished because thats actually what it looks like. ― Kaleeb18TalkCaleb 01:38, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
