Fair use rationale for Image:Li1small.jpg

[edit]

Image:Li1small.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Actress, artist, model?

[edit]

The Factbox says 'Actress, artist, model'. Is there any reference of her as an artist? We know she briefly ran an art-gallery. Valetude (talk) 22:32, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I also wanted know this and I can't find with these sources ... maybe she helped Giger and he allowed her to use some pieces for the gallery? I know her brother, or a relative, appears on Dark Star: H. R. Giger's World, but I think only to talk about her suicide and depression.. 177.83.207.189 (talk) 13:53, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request for cites

[edit]

Re Darkday's request for citations in my new lede (29 November 2015): all these statements are represented in the main article. It is that material that you should be screening for 'weasel' or otherwise. Ledes do not need cites. They just need to summarise the article. Valetude (talk) 23:57, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, that was my mistake. However many of the sources are of questionable quality, but that's a topic for another day. Darkday (talk) 21:14, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
