Definitions[edit]

Turks should be those of Turkic blood from the paternal line and not people who are just born in Turkey and immigrated (such as Jews) or those with Turkish mothers only as that is the maternal line. Also they should havea Turk name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.86.13.165 (talkcontribs) 20:06, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A person does not need to have a Turkish name to be Turkish! Especially in the UK... many Turks end up changing their name so that they wont be discriminated against within the workplace. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.179.214.190 (talk) 14:00, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And this list is only about people of Turkish decent; it should not include all Turkic people neither should it include jews. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.179.214.190 (talk) 14:02, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
