Reordering and other changes
[edit]It's not good that some deities who are from the same Lasicki's or Strijkovski's lists are messed in all article. I'll make consecutive article and all deities will be put to the lists of authors or topics about folk deities and etc... List's will be set chronologically. There will be left notes about uncomfirmed deities. I will add important objective information about each deity. 16:39, 2007 03 12 Welnias
Mergers
[edit]This list came into existance when I merged all individual god articles that were 1-2 sentences in length. I also merged material from List of Lithuanian household gods, List of Lithuanian sky deities, and List of Lithuanian war deities. A lot more clean up and fact checking is needed. None of the articles merged here had any kind of references. Renata 18:27, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Recent changes
[edit]I've just make many small changes, trying to avoid some doubted places. But the article is far from a normal state. Lithuanian neo-pagans make many troubles with this, although they have a possibility to write a separate article indicating all their interpretations as modern interpretations, but not as the historical truth Linas Lituanus 17:24, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Rasa
[edit]My story: I'm working on cleaning up the Rasa disambig page. It links to Rasa (mythology). That link redirects here, but there's nothing about Rasa on the page. I spend too many minutes of my life going through edit histories to figure out when and why Rasa was removed. I finally figure out that she was taken out on 19 August 2006, six days after her article was merged and redirected here, and her removal is for no reason that's apparent to me, so for all I know it was an error. I add her back in today.
I have no interest in Lithuanian mythology, so if people who do care want to take her out again, that's fine with me; however, if you do, please take Rasa (mythology) to Redirects For Discussion since there's no point in redirecting to an article that doesn't mention Rasa at all. If you're REALLY nice, you could then remove the link from Rasa after it gets deleted. Thanks. Propaniac (talk) 15:07, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
WTF
[edit]Baubas, an evil spirit with long sear arms, wrinkly fingers, and red eyes. He harasses people and tears their hair or stifles. To children, he is the equivalent of the boogeyman of the English-speaking countries. A misbehaving child could be told by the parents: "Behave, or baubas will come and get you".
What are 'sear arms'? And what does it mean by tearing out peoples' 'stifles'? These are not phrases that I am familiar with at all. 155.188.183.7 (talk) 15:15, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Reconstructed structure of Lithuanian pantheon
[edit]The section Reconstructed structure of Lithuanian pantheon was formerly a seperate article Reconstructed Lithuanian pantheon which now redirects here. Robert Greer (talk) 15:29, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
