[edit]Why where Natalia Korolevska and Lyudmyla Denisova not on this list? If people do not have the time to surge on wikipedia for articles that should be on this kind of wikipedia lists they should consider (and I advice this strongly) not creating lists! — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 23:43, 16 September 2010
- Besides hasn't wikipedia invented "Categories" for easy acces to articles about similar subjects? — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 23:46, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
This list is a complete mess... Some people had articles but because there names where misspelled on this list... those names turned up red links — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 00:24, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- I mean Slava Stetsko and Serhiy Tihipko where perfect good links in the "Major statesmen" section, but red links in the alphabetic section... That's just silly... to put it mildly... — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 00:34, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
The idea is that these red linked names become blue. Categories do not accomodate for missing articles. We are here to build this. The lists are especially for people like your self who have a better insight into ukrianian politics and can add to the list. The red linked articles can all be transwikied from Ukrainian wikipedia. In fact they all have articles on Ukrainian wikiipedia which should be put into english. If you actually did something yourself to transwiki them rather than sitting around moaning at the people who make a start something it then maybe it wouldn't be a "complete mess". Especially as you are a Ukrainian and have the ability to translate articles and start them you should know better. The lists were translated from cyrillic. Given that I don't understand Ukrainian I hthink I did a pretty good job of starting them. Please assume good faith. If you would like to help me transwiki the articles I'd be happy to start them for you to translate. Dr. Blofeld 09:30, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- In future dealings with creating "Ukrainian" articles please be aware the Romanization of Russian differs from the Romanization of Ukrainian; hence Yukhim Zvyagilsky (a former red link in this article) had an article of his own as Yukhym Zvyahilsky since early 2005. While often there are discussions and mistakes made with Ukrainian names (just see this discussioin). I am not interested in following this list as a guideline with articles should be created since I do nort agree with the notability of some people on this list (I have no idea where you found these names... Ukrainian wikipedia?) since some people on the list I never heard of... and rather follow my own instincts in creating new articles. Thanks for your input, I was simpley trying to warn you that creating "Ukrainian lists" is not so simple as it looks. — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 19:01, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
