Capitalisation[edit]

One problem is that the agreed convention on Wikipedia is that bird species names should be fully capitalised. Caps are inconsistently used in this article but are mainly lower case leading to many redirects. jimfbleak 13:29, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Human impact section[edit]

The "Human impact" section seems to be an un-referenced personal essay combined with how-to advice (see WP:NOTHOWTO and WP:NOTESSAY) so I have removed it here to talk. It also does not belong in a list article, lists should just have short referenced definition intros re:WP:LSC. If there is anything that has to do with definition of the list please restore it. I see by history this used to be an article and that there is other talk re: should the prose section be an article again. This may be a good idea since it does not belong here per WP:SAL, but in article form it would still need to be referenced to some source.
