Future of this article[edit]

I eventually would like to have a page with both total, percentage, and per capita information, perhaps in a way similar to List of countries by research and development spending. I will hopefully work on this in the coming weeks, but perhaps others may wish to help. I would also like to find a good source for total expenditures; the source I cite only does % of GDP and per capita. JEN9841 (talk) 02:43, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This article appears to be quite incorrect. Paragraph prior to the first chart seems to indicate that it includes all social spending "public and mandatory and voluntary private social expenditure" but his is definitely NOT shown in the chart. Please use the correct oecd.org data.[1] Rguy9898 (talk) 17:15, 9 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You're going to want to find an updated version of that link, in about 7 days. Banner that displays at the top of there now (March 2024) says
"This platform has reached the end of its life and will be switched-off end of March 2024. The data are not updated anymore. Please use instead our new data dissemination platform OECD Data Explorer"
Wanted to call that out if it would be helpful to others. Will post more if I find it. Mattygabe (talk) 04:32, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Needed information[edit]

This article could use a good introduction, as well as further sources to back up its credibility.Ontheroad1957 (talk) 18:39, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The credibilty of its data or the credibility of its analysis or framework, or both? MaynardClark (talk) 18:57, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
In my opinion, both.Ontheroad1957 (talk) 19:01, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
