Untitled[edit]

One thing I heard about Duff was that when people exaggerated his skills and international reputation, they got other judges excited about serving on the Supreme Court for the first time (until then a SCC position wasn't seen as much of a prize), because they would be able to work with him. Acting Governor General in 1931?[edit]

The following sentence in the current version seems to be factually incorrect or misleading:

In 1931, he served as Administrator of the Government of Canada between the departure of Lord Bessborough for India and the arrival of Lord Tweedsmuir.

The reason it seems wrong is 1931 was the year Lord Bessborough's tenure began, not the year it ended. Also, the article on Lord Bessborough says nothing about his being in India either before or after serving as GG of Canada. Mathew5000 (talk) 07:34, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Seems that it meant to say England, not India. I've corrected the article and added a reference. FuriouslySerene (talk) 03:47, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
