Title inconsistent with other lynchings of a single person

[edit]

The title of this article is inconsistent with other articles about lynchings of a single person. Most other articles about mobs lynching a single individual are titled "Lynching of <victim>" similar to Murder of .... articles. Since a mob or crowd is the usually feature of a "Lynching", mentioning it was a "mob lynching" is superfluous. I notice in other articles about "mob lynchings", these include the year and place of the lynching but are about a group of people being killed. Following that pattern the title would be "2019 Teok Tea Estate Hospital mob lynching" if one were to follow the naming conventions for events. However, the already established naming conventions for violence and deaths takes precedence and indicates that the title should be "Lynching of Deben Dutta" or even "Murder of Deben Dutta", given the finding of the court included a conviction and death sentence under section 302 of the IPC for murder. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 12:06, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Cameron Dewe The title "Lynching of Deben Dutta" seems suitable. Page movers can do it. I do not have page mover right. - Signed by NeverTry4Me Talk 00:29, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have moved the page to Lynching of Deben Dutta for consistency with similar titles. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 02:41, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
