There's not much information around on the current status of Lyon's - I couldn't even find an obvious corporate website, the current one listed looks as though it may be a franchisee, although it seems to be based in their home town of Sacramento. How many restaurants (owned and franchised) are there at present? FlagSteward 11:50, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There has been reporting of an ownership connection between the Lyon's operation in California under Amber Lao and the alleged financial problems, and abrupt closing, of the "Mallard's" restaurants in Stockton and Modesto, California. [1]
As there are also quite a few disputes as to who did what, understandably, in light of pending criminal proceedings, and rumors regarding previous financial irregularities, this one would probably need some careful editing. 71.197.93.206 (talk) 02:43, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
