Copyright question?[edit]

I just received a message on my talk page and a BIG flag on the top of this article regarding copyright. Considering the page cited in the flag, hnn.us/blogs/2/authors/1892.html seems to be entirely in English and this article is not yet translated from the German, except for the lede, which I just wrote myself, translating and amending it in part, I don't really know how this can be anything but a mistake. The photo used is on another page I picked up from the German Wikipedia yesterday and brought me no such warning, so I'm assuming that is not the problem. I don't have time to go through all of this right now, but will look at it a bit later. In the meantime, I am assuming (and hoping) this is a big mistake. The story is an important one and I think this article should be on the English Wikipedia. Marrante (talk) 16:50, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Acather96, for removing the flag. Marrante (talk) 17:26, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistencies/falsehoods[edit]

We are told in the article under Background that 'The block was never heated, and lacked windows and bunks' - and yet in the photo provided of 'Block 20 after the escape, there are clear windows visible and a heater in the middle of the room.

It's amazing how many stories about the evil German camps turn out to be pure fantasy when you pay attention. 2A07:D880:2:0:0:0:0:A01E (talk) 00:34, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
