Having been to Tampere several times (well what can I do, my job demands it) I can verify that Hämeenkatu is, indeed, one of the most famous streets in Tampere. I still haven't found a Hämeenkatu in Helsinki, though. Hämeentie (not katu, as previously erroneously claimed) is the longest street in Helsinki. JIP | Talk 18:12, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
