This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... (your reason here)

It constitutes fair use and is appropriately cited. There are some short repeated sections because there are only so many words that can be used to describe an academic career spent studying platelet function. T0mpr1c3 (talk) 15:45, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia has a very strict copyright policy, stricter in some ways than copyright law itself, because our fair use policy does not allow us to copy material from copyright sources when there's a freely licensed alternative available. In this case the freely licensed material is prose that we write ourselves.
