Edits on this article[edit]

In its previous version, this article contained numerous mistakes. It was totally unreliable. For instance, Traba was not born in 1930 but in 1923, as her birth certificate and school records clearly demonstrate. She did not study Philosophy but Literature (a kind of Comparative Literature degree in the US). She was not a student while working at the magazine Ver y Estimar (she began working there after she graduated and returned from a fellowship trip Chile. Upon her returned she joined the magazine staff. Later she was a professor at the Universidad de Colombia, but was never a student there. I corrected all these gross mistakes in the English version and will eventually do the same with the Spanish version, unless somebody does it for me, which would be great. What is included above is public information well-known in many countries in Latin America. Quote[edit]

In "A Question Mark Engraved on my Eyelids" (1992) Elena Poniatowska says "Marta Traba was brilliant, original, and feared." Seems like it would be a good fit for this article but I wasn't sure where would be best. It's in the book The Writer on Her Work Volume 2 ~ A23423413 (talk) 17:22, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
