Assessing importance

[edit]

I find it difficult to assess this beyond "Low", although it is obvious from all the eponymous entities that he is regarded very highly in Norway. Could this be on account of him having been a public figure, notably a celebrity, before the war? I haven't read any literature or investigated his historical significance in depth, but if his importance is to be upgraded, I believe that the article should be expanded to reflect the grounds for this. __meco (talk) 09:00, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Having updated myself on the Linge Company article, I am inclined to think importance should be upped one notch, however, for readers that aren't familiar with Norway's WWII history, his (and the company's) significance should be contextualized, not merely having the operations listed as is presently the case. __meco (talk) 09:05, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
