Notability

[edit]

I don't know who marked this, but there is very little grounds for it. Removing this page would mean removing all episode synopsis' for an incredibly popular and long running television show. You cant delete one episode because there isnt enough information for it. Also, I believe the reason that this was marked must be frivilous at best, as there is no justification on this talk page. I agree it can be expanded upon, but there is enough info to warrant it as a stub, and again, it has importance in the context of the X Files entries here. It's removal would leave a hole in the list of episodes. Spiderbloke 14:11, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Memento Mori 4x15.jpg

[edit]

Image:Memento Mori 4x15.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Checking against GA criteria

[edit]
GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
Again, "The episode is one of those which helped to explore the series' overarching mythology." I feel this should be rewritten as "This episode helps to explore the series' overarching mythology."
No mention of production in the intro
I would cite the guest stars at the very end, but that's just me
"The scene which would have established the character was intended to echo a similar scene in the second season episode "One Breath", which featured Don S. Davis as Scully's father" How does it echo?
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
    All good
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Thorough coverage, no sign of trivia
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
    Neural POV
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
    No edit warring
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
One picture, properly tagged. Are there any other free pictures to spice up the production section? You know how I like those pictures!
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
On hold for seven days for above issues to be addressed.--Gen. Quon (talk) 16:44, 28 January 2012 (UTC)--Gen. Quon (talk) 17:56, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the review I think I've got everything now. Had to poke about for an image, eventually just settled on the old Spotnitz and Carter one. Nothing else really had an associated image to use. Let me know if I've missed anything. GRAPPLE X 16:22, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent! Everything looks good. I like that new picture, too. I pass this article!--Gen. Quon (talk) 18:12, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
