[edit]Does anyone think it a little weird to refer to the use of cannabis as "smoking dope?"--24.193.254.46 (talk) 16:28, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
JT Interview
[edit]Has anyone else noted the suggestions in the JT Leroy interview that JT knew Mike more intimately than was revealed? Granted, it appears JT isn't a real person to begin with, but it's interesting that Michael wanted to have that suggestion there. I'm aware of speculation regarding his possible bisexuality.
Where is the proof that he is a cousin of Brad Pitt?!
- There is no relation to Brad Pitt, people need to stop inventing facts here on Wiki that we all know to be untrue. rock8591 01:22, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Dreamerscut.JPG
[edit]Image:Dreamerscut.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Pericle il Nero
[edit]I am unable to find a valid citation to back up Pitt's appearance in this film—it is unusual, as it is also absent from IMDB.--Soulparadox (talk) 06:10, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Ethnicity
[edit]The article makes an error. He's not half Italian in his heritage. His mother Jane is half Italian, half Irish. His father is of Anglo-Saxon heritage. Here is one link:

- ethnicelebs.com is not a reliable source. --Ronz (talk) 21:08, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
- Certainly it is nowhere near as reliable as a half-assed interview on a defunct online girlie-pic site. 97.91.249.83 (talk) 03:52, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
Shouldn't " Murder By Numbers " be in the first section as movie he is best known or well known for ?
[edit]Really , I know him more from that movie than any other movie , as I'm sure many other people do too . 96.233.52.166 (talk) 22:57, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
Terrible photo
[edit]We need a better photo of Michael Pitt that isn't from 16 years ago. I thought I was in the wrong article for a second when I saw it. 24.187.209.35 (talk) 14:53, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
- A lot of this is outdated i.e. the reference to his relationship with Jamie Bochert from 2005(!); is there seriously NOTHING more recent than that to support the current status of this relationship or of any other? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.2.118.13 (talk) 14:18, 11 July 2019 (UTC)
- I added a public domain photo of him from 2010 to the article. The photographer has a better photo that one could crop to show his face, but there's no date on it (although I would guess it's around 2010-2011) so I decided to use the one with a date. Not to condone harassment or invasion of privacy, but I have heard that Mr. Pitt frequents bars in Bushwick, Brooklyn (I heard he was at The Broadway in October), so if anyone finds him there and politely asks to photograph him for the article, we would greatly appreciate it. Newest arrest
[edit]Personal life should reflect his arrest from October 2024 216.121.182.128 (talk) 02:21, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
- 8 days later and still no change. I am willing to make the amendment myself. Article is inaccurate in its current form and only reflects the subjects life prior to October 2024. 216.121.182.128 (talk) 05:41, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- could you please provide a link to an article that describes Mr. Pitt being arrested in October 2024? Can't find anything about it online. Dunkahoop (talk) 01:22, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
- Update: Someone posted on Reddit that he was recently arrested for assault and strangulation on October 16th, which could be what OP is referring to. Can't find the page in the screenshot when searching for it on the WebCriminal website, so can't verify if it occurred in October 2024, or even if it is Mr. Pitt (although it does seem in character, there's plenty of reports that he's a violent alcoholic).
- There's also mentions that he lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Any authoritative sources on this? Dunkahoop (talk) 01:53, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
