Eamon, Older Brother Of Jesus[edit]

I noticed a fairly glaring mistake in Redmond's article while looking for information on his radio series Eamon, Older Brother Of Jesus, which seem to originate from a poorly researched Irish Times interview from 2010 that has been used as one of the sources. In that piece the interviewer stated the series (which was scheduled to begin on the 30th October 1996 on BBC Radio 4, but cancelled by the station controller before an episode had aired), was later broadcast on as part of Alan Davies' Radio 1 series Alan's Big 1FM, which could not possibly be the case as the Davies series ran for just seven episodes between May and June of 1994 according to the BBC Genome website

I think what they have done is confuse it with an earlier incarnation of Eamon that was featured as a segment on the Davies show, but which was completely independent of the later Radio 4 adaptation. Despite what the interviewer wrote the 1996 series was never broadcast on either station. DotOnTheDog (talk) 20:14, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
