Chronology

[edit]

I have doubts about the accuracy of the proposed chronology of events. In its current form, the article suggests that Akelaitis fled to Paris before the uprising, then returned to the Augustów region, only to flee again in 1864. According to my knowledge, this is incorrect. Akelaitis went to France only after fleeing from East Prussia and remained there for the rest of his life. The article states that Akelaitis was a member of several Parisian organisation pre-uprising, so it would make sense for him to have been there. For example, as "a member of the Paris Society of Polish Youth led by Zygmunt Padlewski", he must have been there before the death of Padlewski, which was in 1863. Padlewski himself emigrated to Paris in 1861, so Akelaitis might have done the same. +JMJ+ (talk) 20:56, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
