why does it say vandlism??? is wiki not for users to edit? why does there seem to be people on here that try to make sure "their" facts and opinions are only accepted on here? When I have a valid inside source for information...why is it not ok to put the truth out there for people to see? Thats all I was trying to do with my first ever wiki edit? Why do you give users the option to edit when some guys who weilds the wiki stick to kill your edits?

In answer to your question, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Wikipedia:Vandalism is anything which is clearly designed to destroy or disrupt its purpose, including obscenities and obviously incorrect facts. You are permitted to edit Wikipedia only in order to make it a better encyclopedia. Everything else will be removed. See Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers for more information on how to edit here. Is it really right to put that up there? I wouldn't want people to know something that personal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.74.0.107 (talk) 00:55, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
