Nick Findlay Coulson

[edit]

On Richard Herring's podcast from the Leicester Square Theatre on 7th October 2013, Miles Jupp said that his former writing partner, Nick Findlay Coulson, had made deliberately false amendments to his Wikipedia page. 81.132.210.214 (talk) 21:12, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[David Bradbury: I think one of those false amendments is still there as of 14 March 2017: 'Jupp first came to prominence on British television as Harold Meaker in BBC's long running show Rentaghost'. This definitely isn't true! Harold Meaker was played by Edward Brayshaw. Further, the series ended in 1984 when Miles Jupp would have been just five years old. ] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Davidbradbury (talkcontribs) 06:29, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is the signature graphic necessary?

[edit]

I wonder whether it's in the infobox just as a decoration. What does it add to readers' understanding of the topic? Does it increase the risk of fraudulence against the subject of the article? Tony (talk) 08:40, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Security. When HSBC is in doubt about the veracity of a cheque putatively from Mr Jupp, they just consult the Wiki to make sure. Perennial Student (talk) 00:23, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced

[edit]

Given the long standing issues, and the list of appearances, I m minded to remove all unsourced statements in that section Jabberwoch (talk) 23:12, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

seems to me you could replace the whole article with his birthdate & very brief biographical details, then just a huge picture. people will come here & go "oh, him!" & the just get on with their lives.

seriously, it's just a big list.
