Clarification[edit]

It is unclear if the sentence means

The school is open for 4 hours and forty weeks
A student is expected to attend for 4 hours and 40 weeks

Is the school open for more than 4 hours a week? is the school open for 52 weeks? is a student expected to attend a minimum of 4 hours? etc.
