Killed By Serbs
[edit]Miro BARESIC was not killed by Serb forces during the 'Homeland War'. It is widely known that Miro was killed by the Croatian Gov. Miro was the only member of ZNG who did not return from the frontline that day. How ironic that the commander of the unit is supposedly KIA and everyone else who came back from the front refused to talk or never mentioned to the media what actionally occured that day when Miro died. The Balkan politicians are masters at covering up these assasinations. Someone has to pay for this terrible crime of a great Croatian Patriot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.142.249.81 (talk) 01:34, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
Conspiracy theory
[edit]After briefly researching the topic, I'd say that the conspiracy theory around his death is completely baseless. There is absolutely nothing "suspicious" or "unexplained" about his death. I could elaborate, but for the time being let me just say that media were part opportunistic part sloppy reporting on this topic (saying that nothing untoward happened won't sell the newspaper, and investigating is oh-so-hard), so it's best to try and moderate what they're saying. "Convicted of terrorism charges"
[edit]@Rms125a@hotmail.com: actually, Barešić was convicted of murder and other charges; terrorism was not among them. If we really need to go down that road, it's better to say simply "terrorist" and use the NYT source for it. GregorB (talk) 08:08, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
