A fact from Miss Indigenous Canada appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 20 August 2024 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the first Miss Indigenous Canada contestants were judged on ambassadorship, character, community service, and cultural involvement?

Comment: Thank you in advance to the reviewer! I'll work on completing the QPQ later today. Completed! If any reviewers may have a more hook-y alternative hook, you are welcome to do so!

Number of QPQs required: 1. Nominator has 35 past nominations.
Overall: Both hooks are verified by the sources given, which are cited in the appropriate places in the article. References were cross-checked for verification and plagiarism; no issues arose. I prefer ALT1 because it is more informative. I think ALT0 would have been more eye-catching if it said the statement definitively, but that isn't possible due to attribution guidelines.
