This is her second article

[edit]

This is her second article. The first reached this stage (only visible if you have admin superpowers). User:Zadoc, whose only en:WP edits are these two, first deleted the date of birth and country of origin (without giving any reason) and then blanked the page (ditto). User:NewEnglandYankee then reversed Zadoc's edits. Finally, User:David.Monniaux deleted the article, commenting no sources, no evidence of notability, complained to Foundation => killed as per WP:BLP.

The article that DM deleted neither mentioned any exhibition nor said that MT was a teacher; instead, it just said that "her work" (where? for whom?) was of this or that kind. It was reasonable to comment that the article presented no evidence of notability. Plus it was indeed unreferenced.

It appears to me that the new article asserts notability. And the assertions are (vaguely) referenced, too.

Beats me how Baudrillard and Lyotard could "inspire" anything other than drowsiness, but that's a different matter..... Hoary (talk) 03:18, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The subject is legit, but the references obviously need further work - I merely added what I found ready to hand. Yes, the mention of Baudrillard and Lyotard seems more damning than impressive... but that's what passes for inspiring within a sizable part of academe... Birthdate

[edit]

I removed the birth date. it had been supported by a reference to a source but that source has removed the date.--S Philbrick(Talk) 15:12, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
