[edit]Hey all. Definitely appreciate the attempt to include additional citations, but in this case, the two that were flagged seem quite unnecessary. Both of the facts that were flagged can be verified in the refs in the previous sentences. I don't feel like every single sentence needs a citation marker, and the two marked sentences naturally follow from the first sentences in both cases. If ppl think it makes sense to instead include the reference after the second sentence in each case, then let's just move the refs. Girona7 (talk) 15:48, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
"first name is Jan"
[edit]To whomever keeps adding this line: It will keep being removed unless you provide a proper source to back it up, which seems unlikely. Neither of the Mets mascots have first names. Girona7 (talk) 03:19, 12 September 2015 (UTC)
- It seems there is a source for this... is it only the one? To state something like this as a fact (in Wikipedia’s voice) I think we need a second source for confirmation. Otherwise, I would recommend attributing (as in: “according to X, her first name is Jan.”) Blueboar (talk) 15:48, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
