They had a Vasyl Avramenko Exhibit here in Toronto in 2006.I was able to speak to the curator and she told me a lot of interesting stuff about the film. What is interesting is that this was the very first ethnic film made in the US and that the sets were sold and used for the first Yiddish film made the following year.
