Untitled[edit]

"The blatant promotional item" was the only item in the whole article about her that actually had a source. If you did not like it, you could have shortened the reference to her donation or deleted the exact figure instead of deleting the information altogether. It was after all accurate and properly sourced.

Added 2 categories[edit]

Added 2 categories Indian Christians category and Malayali people category.--71.30.177.228 06:40, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Do you have one that abides by our policies? GFOLEY FOUR— 04:19, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Edit request ,30-07-2014[edit]

There is a difference in the birth date between the one presented in description and the one that is present in box below picture. Please verify and correct the same.

Date of birth[edit]

Source 1 says November 18 but no year. Source 2 says age 23 as of December 05, 2008. So logically, she turned 23 on November 18, 2008 and therefore her year of birth is 1985. Templated output: (1985-11-18) 18 November 1985 (age 30) --Geniac (talk) 17:56, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

Requested move 18 January 2016[edit]

NayantaraNayanthara – This is her official spelling. She herself confirmed this in a TV interview to avoid confusion. Her PR and official movie posters carries the name 'Nayanthara'. So i want to move this page. Help me. – Jeevanantham Karunanithi (talk) 18:33, 18 January 2016 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 04:25, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

This is a contested technical request (permalink). EdJohnston (talk) 21:00, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Comment: Both spellings are found on the web. If a film poster is being used as a reference, please link to it. EdJohnston (talk) 21:00, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Do not move until the pending history merge request is completed. This was copy-and-pasted from the article at the suggested move target in 2007. BethNaught (talk) 21:31, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Comment: Check the Iru Mugan first look for her spelling. It will be found below Vikram 's name. Jeevanantham Karunanithi (talk) 04:30, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
  • I Yes check.svg Done the history-merge (Diana Kurien and Nayanthara to Nayantara (except 5 late (18 Jan 2016) edits of Nayanthara)). But that left Nayantara with over 5000 edits, which may cause difficulties for ordinary admins like me who do not have a special privilege. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 11:18, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Relisting comment. History problems have been resolved, now we need some comments on the substance of the RM, i.e. which of "Nayantara" and "Nayanthara" is the most common name. Jenks24 (talk) 04:25, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Support Google Books supports the 'th', even if നയൻതാര would normally be 't'. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:56, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
