Finally Finished...
[edit]Well after god knows how many edits and an all nighter, I'm finally happy and finished with this article. Leave me constructive criticism and comments on how I can improve this article, but since its my first article try not to be too mean :) . Feel free to add on what you know. - An excellent debut article, most debutants need other users to come along to tidy up, and particularly to wikify, but all this article needed was some reference cleaning, and not much of that! You clearly learn't your stuff before you wrote, which is very good! The slight point of references I left on the peer review, and don't forget to put puncutation before references,[1] not after it[2]. :)
- Oh yes, how about a DYK? Have a read and see what you think SGGH speak! 12:52, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- A DYK would be pretty nice, I assume that means that part of the article would be listed under the main page "Did you know?" section? Rebel3986 13:04 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Assessment
[edit]Looking good, perhaps add a couple more references and then try for WP:GA when you feel ready. :) SGGH speak! 11:19, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Essex County Sheriff
[edit]Who was in charge of the New Jersey Transit Police web site. It has incorrect information refering to who trained there k-9 squad.
It was the Essex County Sheriff's Office not the Essex County Police Department. Who is now by the way absorbed into the Sheriff's Office.
Give credit to where credit is due.
Just would like everyone to know that bit of information. It would be nice if someone would change the web site and acknowledge the Essex County Sheriff's Office.
- If you have a source that says it was the Sheriffs Office that trained NJTPD K9 officers, we can change the article immediately. If you don't, I will search for a source, however, will not change the article yet(I'll do so in a few days). Also, you say that the Essex County Police Dept was absorbed into the Essex County Sheriffs Office. When did this occur? Is it possible the Police Dept trained NJTPD K9 officers before it was absorbed into the Sheriffs Office? I am not familiar with this, which is why I am asking you. If anyone else has info or a source on this, I'd greatly appreciate it posted. MOOOOOPS (talk) 01:43, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
