Having a collage in general is not a bad idea. But it should not be linking to the articles in the Russian Wikipedia (red links or no links at all would be fine), and I can't help but wonder why the cathedral has to be there. It's a not particularly remarkable new construction; surely there are other landmarks in Novokuznetsk which are more exciting, historic, and representative of the city life? If not, at least stick it to the bottom left corner—it's current position makes it look like it's the most important thing the city has (which would be sad).—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); November 19, 2015; 14:57 (UTC)

Dear editors, if you are not disappointed with this collage, then I will be happy to add it to the infobox of the city. -- Andrew Krizhanovsky (talk) 19:30, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Name Shor langauge

[edit]

TastyPoutine, Why you deleted name of city in Shor language? You wrote "You’re looking to relitigate the discussion on Talk: Tomsk on this page" but Tomsk city is in other region of Russia unrelated to Kemerovo Oblast or Novokuznetsk. (Shor: Aba-Tura[1]) Shor are native people in Novokuznetsk (and all Kemerovo Oblast). You can read about it on official web-site of Administration of the Kemerovo Oblast https://ako.ru/oblast/obshchaya-informatsiya/indigenous-population.php

According to this official site, there are only 2 indigenous peoples in the Kemerovo Kemerovo Oblast: the Shors and the Bachat Teleuts, which are sometimes referred to as the Shorts subethnos. Sebirkhan (talk) 21:41, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You are perfectly well aware of what I meant about relitigating the same discussion. Read what I wrote there. TastyPoutine talk (if you dare) 22:02, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Can you give objective reasons why the name must not be present in Shor? I, in turn, provided the official website of the Oblast, I think it has at least some significance. Sebirkhan (talk) 00:45, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Did you read what I wrote? TastyPoutine talk (if you dare) 02:35, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I beg you, do not depart from the topic. Did you have a reason to delete the name? Sebirkhan (talk) 02:56, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Did you read what I wrote on Talk:Tomsk? The same reasoning applies. TastyPoutine talk (if you dare) 03:56, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
