[edit]The citation for the population could be gotten from a gazetteer. Lou Sander 11:16, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- Would you mind including it then, please? Or, if you just let me know what the link to Novy Port's population data is, I'll format and insert it for you. Thanks!—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:52, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- I quickly looked at my sources here in the U.S. The city was listed in the gazetteer, but no population was shown. Lou Sander 16:35, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- Pity, but thanks for looking!—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 16:43, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- I found one online source of info about a LOT of Russian towns. It showed Novy Port with an elevation of 0 meters and a population of 3. The towns around it (alphabetically) all had more reasonable numbers. Maybe the source thought Novy Port was in the middle of the water or something (I saw a map that showed it there.) I don't remember where these Internet places were, but my browser history still has them, if anybody is interested in pursuing the Novy Port matter further. Lou Sander 03:48, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- If you could post the relevant pieces here, I'll see if I am able to find the original website. Thanks!—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 15:16, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
