The result of the move request was: page moved. Vegaswikian (talk) 23:47, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
Ohōtsuku Subprefecture → Okhotsk Subprefecture – As per WP:ENGLISH, WP:COMMONNAME, and WP:MOS-JA, we should use the widely-used and recognized spelling "Okhotsk" rather than the romanized form of the Japanese name (pronounced Ohōtsuku). The official site uses the spelling "Okhotsk", with "Ohōtsuku" not appearing anywhere. This move request is further complicated by the fact that a parallel article with identical content was created a while back at Okhotsk General Subprefectural Bureau in a cut & paste move, so that article's history should perhaps also be merged into Okhotsk Subprefecture at the same time if this move goes ahead. --DAJF (talk) 10:20, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
- Support. Okhotsk is clearly the common English usage in this case. — Mr. Stradivarius ♫ 12:11, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
