Democratic Labor Party
[edit]Frank McManus, a late DLP Senator, refers to Olive Anstey in his autobiography as a founding member of the Australian Labor Party (anti-Communist), as the DLP was originally called, in Western Australia in 1955. He said she was related to Frank Anstey, who served as an ALP member of the federal parliament. Someone from Western Australia may have knowledge of Olive Anstey's role in the DLP in that state. It may have been marginal. 121.219.227.86 (talk) 12:37, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- While I don't know the details, she certainly ran as a Senate candidate in 1955. Frickeg (talk) 14:01, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
