http://www.freedomradio.us/announcements/civilflag.htm is the link for the alleged "American Civil Flag of Peace" to quote from the website.

I apologize for including the hyperlink which is an attempt by someone else to sell this flag, but how else can I tell you folks about it?

Did Oliver Wolcott, Jr. really propose this while he was the Secretary of the Treasury, and is it really an official flag of the United States?

This might be worth including if it is true that he proposed it & the President approved it even if the Congress rejected it.

If the Congress approved it, then there is a gap in our education.

I see the Federalist cheering section has been by again; there is no mention of his insubordination to the President, and "a particularly vicious campaign" just won't do. He was cleared eventually, but that's a different thing. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 22:48, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
