Signs of honor for merits around the country of Vienna
[edit]This is an order of merit, on the German WP for the city of vienna, which has its own merit honours. scope_creep (talk) 12:37, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
- The German article is de:Ehrenzeichen für Verdienste um das Land Wien

- The page was reconfigured to avoid duplication of entries at Order of merit. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 17:14, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
Better merge with Order of merit? PPEMES (talk) 09:38, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- Support. Good idea: there's nothing on this disambiguation page that couldn't be included at Order of merit. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:23, 29 November 2019 (UTC)
- Support; @PPEMES: the current splitting is unjustified. fgnievinski (talk) 18:08, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
- Support with one minor qualification. There is an appalling amount of overlap between Order of merit and Order of merit (disambiguation), which needs to be cleaned up. It makes sense to merge all the national orders into the basename: they all spring from similar basic idea. My qualification is that a few of the entries on the DAB page, including FIFA Order of Merit, PDC Order of Merit and Pour le Mérite don't relate to Order (distinction), and should remain on the DAB page. I see no problem with the idea of a DAB page referring to two WP:PTOPICs, namely Order of merit and Order of Merit. Narky Blert (talk) 15:28, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Narky Blert: Sounds like a wise qualification to me. I support your alternative solution. PPEMES (talk) 16:44, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
