External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Orton Plantation. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for statelibrary.dcr.state.nc.us/nc/ncsites/orton.htm
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20090608024143/http://www.newsobserver.com:80/102/story/444581.html to http://www.newsobserver.com/102/story/444581.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

No longer open to the public since 2010 sale
[edit]This article is outdated because it implies and states that parts of the plantation (gardens, chapel) are still open to the public. But that hasn't been the case since it was purchased by a billionaire in 2010. Here are some confirming links below. I will update the article accordingly. 24.177.19.147 (talk) 04:11, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
